BrainNet Europe is a "Network of Excellence" funded by the European Commission in the 6th Framework Program "Life Science" (LSHM-CT-2004-503039). It consists of 19 established brain banks across Europe and is coordinated by the Centre for Neuropathology and Prion Research Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich, Germany.
|WP14 - Internal and External Training and Exchange|
The aim of this work package is to improve training of staff in brain banking by exchanging experience, protocols and best practice by means of the internet and of exchange visits. In the same way it is important to establish improved trainings for young scientists attached to individual brain banks through exchange visits and attendance at conferences. The Organisation and provision of training symposia at international scientific conferences also belongs to the tasks of this work package.
